It is a time when most Americans cringe with the anticipation of having to fork over more of their hard-earned money to Uncle Sam.
However, if you are a real estate investor and landlord, tax time can feel more like the holiday season.
The trick to making taxes something to celebrate is knowing just how much of your real estate investments you can write off. Today, I’m sharing some of the largest and most popular deductions for you to include in your next filing.
One of the fun perks about investing in real estate in Fairfield County, even if you don’t live here, is that you will be able to deduct a portion of your vacation expenses. I know that I don’t have to tell you that investing in real estate is one of the fastest and safest ways to build your wealth, plan for your retirement, and improve your quality of life with positive cash flow.

What’s not to love?!
The foliage is breathtaking, the air is brisk, and there are apples and pumpkins ready for picking.
There are few activities that really scream autumn in Ridgefield like heading out to one of the local family farms for an afternoon of apple picking. A day of apple picking at the farm is a fun way to spend time together with the family, take your beau on a date, or just get out of the house for some fresh air.
We are lucky here in Ridgefield to have a plethora of different farms to choose from but the ones in today’s post are far and away my favorites!
Blue Jay Orchards
Blue Jay Orchards is located in Bethel, not far from Ridgefield. This 122-acre farm offers four different types of apples that you can enjoy. The farm also has a very large pumpkin patch where you can choose the right carving pumpkin for your fall celebration. The orchard is open e ...

Sponsored by the Downtown Merchants Association and the Holiday Trust Fund, the celebration lasts a few hours on the Saturday before Halloween and is always a lot of fun for everyone that attends.
What To Expect At The 2018 Halloween Walk In Ridgefield
Everyone will be in costume and the shops and downtown Ridgefield area are fully decked out and decorated for the celebration. The merchants are ready and eager to hand out treats to the kids, and the adults may find some good deals at the same time.
Of course, there is a wide selection of delicious food and enjoyable entertainment throughout the area during the celebration and it is an overall good time to start the Halloween “season.” Children can “Trick or Treat” from shop to shop and enjoy the ...
